A website everyone can use
Intimate Innovations Technologies aims to design inclusive products and applications, including for people with disabilities. Our website has to live up to that.
Statement issued on 17 September 2026 · voluntary initiative
This commitment is voluntary: the publisher does not reach the thresholds that make digital accessibility mandatory in France.
Compliance status
Partially compliant
Internal self-assessment of the iitech.fr website, carried out in September 2026: code review, keyboard testing, testing across several browsers and screen reader testing. No third party has audited the site to date, so we publish neither a score nor a label. A full audit is planned.
- Standard targeted
- RGAA 4.1.2 · WCAG 2.1 AA
- Method
- Code review, keyboard, browser and screen reader testing
- Third-party audit
- Planned, not yet carried out
- Legal obligation
- None to date (thresholds not met)
What is in place
- The whole site can be used with the keyboard, and the focus is always visible.
- A skip link leads straight to the content.
- Text contrast meets level AA.
- Headings follow in order and the page regions are identified.
- The mobile menu announces its state to screen readers.
- Forms are labelled; their errors are announced and translated.
- The “reduce motion” setting is respected.
- The page stays usable at 400% zoom, i.e. down to 320 pixels wide, menu included.
- No third-party accessibility overlay: everything is handled in the site code.
- A sitemap page complements the main menu: two ways to reach any page.
- Form field borders meet the required 3:1 contrast ratio.
- Card titles are real headings in the code, not just text made to look important.
- Purely decorative icons are no longer read aloud.
- Special characters are no longer spelled out one by one.
- Series of cards, steps and contact details are marked up as lists: they are announced and can be skipped in one move.
- Every content page offers a link onwards: no page ends in a dead end any more.
Known limitations
We would rather name them than leave them unsaid.
- Screen reader testing was carried out with NVDA under Firefox in September 2026; it led to fixes, but does not cover every page yet.
- VoiceOver and TalkBack have not been used on real devices yet.
- No version in French Sign Language (LSF).
- Our legal texts are not yet offered in plain language (FALC).
- The Pitch Deck request form needs JavaScript; without it, the email address is shown instead. It prepares an email in your email app: you send it yourself.
- The validation messages built into the browser (empty field, malformed email) appear in the browser's language, not always the page's.
